Read that twice, appreciate it thanks :good

Very good point about Pacquaio being more refined these days, I actually think it's to his detriment in this fight, he needs to revert to being that sensation everyone was taken with back at 126 and 130. (Well I wouldn't say he needs too, but it would shorten his night IMO.)

    1. Fustrate Pac & stay outside
    2. Work on the inside

If Bradley stays mid-range & slugs with Pac he'll get outlanded & busted up. He isnt skilled enough to tame Pac with counters like Marquez.

Timmy needs to spend the majority of the fight either outside of Pac's range or inclose & smothering.

fight him inside. pac likes to fight from a distance. bag the body, follow it up with uppercuts.

I have my own detailed opinion, but I'm alot more intrested in others.

I agree mid-range is a bad spot for Bradley, he should stay outside when he needs to rest, and frustrate Pacquaio,(Manny still allows his emotions to creep in when he's fighting) and then weave his way inside where he has to work like crazy, don't load up just land shots, accumalation rather than devestation, is key.

He should keep enough distance to feints and bait Manny to lunges in, then he need to throw well timed, sharp punches to counter Manny coming in. As good as a technical sound boxer Bradley is, He doesn't throw sharp punches like Floyd/JMM does, that's going to be play a big disadvantage for him against Manny.

Be patient and use feints. Once pac gets irritated and lunges in, slip to his right and counter with right straight. use them whenever pac throws the lead left.

dont brawl, or you get kunt the ****d out. you head is a big target for packy.

He should primarily try to stay at long-range for this one, because he's longer. I'd focus on jabbing if I were him, but I would not try to take the fight inside. While Pacquiao's at his best at mid-range and is not adept at fighting in close, for Bradley, closing the distance and trying to rough Pacquiao up in close would leave too great a chance Bradley could get ravaged by Pacquio's handspeed and power. Bradley's gigantic head is a pretty easy target.

The best bet for Bradley would be to make it an ugly, Hopkins-esque fight. If he focused on circling to Pacquiao's right and jabbing, along with overhand right counters at range, he'd have a chance of scoring on and frustrating Pacquiao. The other thing he would have to do is to do everything he can to NOT appear to backpedal. If he in any way appears to back away and fight negatively and not push the action against Pacquiao, the judges will penalize him for it.

Judges simply do not seem to like counterpunching. Aggression is much more favored. Thus, Bradley would have to make his circling movements closer into Pacquiao over time, and push him back at times to try and send the message that he is the stronger man and dictating the pace. If he has to fight inside, the best time to do this would be to time his advances in with an advance in of his own, probably with a leaning-in jab-overhand right-left to the body combination before tying Pacquiao up. This would serve to frustrate Pacquiao and possibly lead to a clash of heads. We all know Pacquiao doesn't make out too well with those, while Bradley's head is perhaps his best offensive weapon.

Bradley would have to make slowly advancing circling maneuvers to the right, throw overhand rights over Pacquiao's left, mix up jabs to the head and body, and sneak hooks into Pacquiao's body when he's in close before tying him up. He would have to lean in while jabbing whenever Pacquiao comes forward at him. Uppercuts would be inadvisable for Bradley, because dropping his hands to throw them, even for a moment, would leave him open to the counter right hook and duck that Pacquiao likes to do, or even his short left hooks.

Bradley would not be able to knock Pacquiao out or get a decision over him if he appears to backpedal too much or adopt a conservative gameplan like Marquez did. It would be absolutely necessary that he keeps his circling generally forward, and pushes Pacquiao back into long range if he starts his advance, or failing in that, to tie him up and frustrate him in the manner outlined earlier.

It wouldn't be pretty, but Bradley could not only make Pacquiao look bad, but also claim a close decision if he follows a strategy like this.

Move a lot early on and hope that by the mid rounds, you can reverse the tables and pressure him with volume and, yet again, sustained movement. Only go for the first couple rounds if you see an obvious opening. My goal would be to win on conditioning/stamina. Bradley needs to avoid even once fighting in the pocket with Pac, that will not work at all.

Use your HEAD Bradley!!! haha figuratively and not literally although it wouldnt heart as Pac obviously is bothered by cuts.

Alright so the only advantage I see Bradley having over Pac is inside fighting. Bradley has a rough and tough inside fighting game. However, I would not recommend he starts on that inside game until a little later in the fight when Pacs power starts to drop.

Here is how I would fight him if I was Bradley.

Rounds 1-6. Follow the JMM blueprint. Although he is not JMM he does have speed working on his side. He can back up and let Pac lead while always moving to the side as Pac has not figured that out and more than likely never will. Step to the side and let him come to you. You then counter him with strong right hand leads to the head and if there is a chance try to crack that body since Bradley is a good body puncher.

From 7-12 rounds Bradley will have to step it up as Pac is the name fighter and we have seen what happens if you dont stop Pac. You get robbed.
After 6 rounds of Bradley countering Pac and frustrating him then take it to the inside. Pacs power should have dropped enough by now that you should be able to go inside and beat him where he is most vulnerable. The inside is Tims bread and butter but with Pacs early power I would not suggest going there until later. Now Pac is frustrated and imagine what all of a sudden changing your gamplan will do to Pac. Stay inside but keep those earmuffs on because Pac will be angry and going for broke. rough him up and push him to the ropes. No guy Pac has ever been fast and strong enough to do that. Bradley does have the capabilities.
