Bradley doesn't have the power to bother Pac. Its going to be a hard night for Timmy. He'll land a few as Manny isn't a defensive wizard but he won't hurt Manny. Can see him eating multiple straight lefts. Marquez controlled the distance against Pac and knew that if he maintained that then he could get Manny to come to him and with his timing JMM took full advantage(and stlll got shafted!!!) Bradley isn't Marquez and won't be able to fight like JMM.
Step outside Mannys front foot and making him follow you, be patient and revolve a gameplan around countering with right hands.
His bread in butter, bobbing and weaving. Overhand rights and Lead left hooks from the crouch position which he does well anyway. Constantly ducking out of position and holding. Stay the aggressor throwing no more than 1 or two shots at a time except when he has him on the ropes, and staying in the center of the ring.
Bradley is the epitomy of a tune up so expect Pacquiao to try and make quick work out of him. He needs to keep that jab in Manny's face and go to his body. I won't get into details because it probably wouldn't matter....Bradley by all appearance is just as happy as can be just to be in the ring with him!!!
I'd punch him. Duh! :nut Truthfully, I'd be defensive with a strong tendency to counter punch with combinations.
Many posters seem to have the idea Bradley should fight like Marquez, which comes off as narrowminded. Bradley aint Marquez, cant fight like him, and even if he could that would not be enough to give him the official win. In my opinion Bradley must be it all to win. Beeing able to counterpunch when Pac comes in and take the lead when Pac stands back. On the outside he needs to use the jab enough for them to seem equal, and of course he needs to spoil by holding when Pac gets offensive. My prediction is that Bradley will rely on spoiling and counterpunching, and end up "robbed".
Doesn't have the power to KO Pac, so in other words: He has absolutley NO chance of winning since he will NEVER get the decision..Arums judges will make sure of that.
Stay calm, measured, control the pace. When Pacquiao starts his wild flurries, take a couple step back and circle. When Pacquiao is standing in front of you bouncing up and down, get off first then get out. Fight like Marquez. Dont get flustered like Cotto. Circle to his right. Pacquiao is susceptible to the lead right. Throw it early and often. Pacquiao cant cut off the ring, so if you need to take a rest or gain your composure. Just dance. Pacquiao will get frustrated and start getting himself out of position. Which will allow for more opportunities for counter shots.
:thumbsup thanks dog and of course there are things like keep moving to his left and his foot position, but I thought those were a gimme
Bradley needs to make it an ugly fight. He is without a doubt the superior inside fighter he needs to make a living fighting Pac on the inside and going to the body while there. He needs to frustrate Pac holding and leading with his head if need be. He has good boxing skills better IMO than Pac so he can hold his own from the outside provided that he moves while fighting there. He can not stand in front of Pac but be constantly moving when not on the offensive. I think Bradley has a legit shot at beating Pac if he can take his power. Bradley is a solid all around fighter with great stamina and heart. He will come to win on June 9th.
Bradley will keep his distance and avoid exchanges, he will be able to get in and out and fight on the inside on short occasions without getting hit too much, he has all the tools to fight like this due to his great footspeed, handspeed and underrated defense. This is a tactic he will use against Manny, he will use his ring intelligence and cut off the ring which will frustrate Pacquiao. As the fight will go on, Pacquiao will get more angry and restless whilst Bradley will pick up more rounds, towards the end Bradley is very very very strong and comes on hard, so at the end I see him exchanging much more and causing more damage, which in turn will look great for the judges and also may knock Manny down. For this to happen Bradley will have to be on top of his game and just follow from what Mosley and JMM did, its just that simple, Manny aint a hard fighter to beat with the right Gameplan and if Bradley brings his A-Game, I see him winning this with class !
