As we all know, boxing is an international sport where we always root for our favorite fighters from around the world but we always root for our fellow countrymen like no other, everytime they step into the ring and give it their all...So im asking you, which of your fellow countrymen fighters are your all time top 5 favorites??? Mine: Julio Cesar Chavez Marco Antonio Barrera Vicente Saldivar Salvador Sanchez Erik Morales :bbb
yeah great question if you live in the usa or mexico, my stupid country hasnt even delivered one HOF:fire
Im sure you're country has at least 5 fighters you know of, or like no? I guess i can give you Euros a break, and ask for your CONTINENTS top 5 :good
If we are talking about k1 I could yeah Oki continent top 5 favourite: 1. lennox lewis 2. ken buchanan 3. klits 4. jack dempsey 5.kostya tszyu
Lewis Eubank Benn Hamed Cant actually think of any outside of Lewis that I really liked that much. Eubank and Hameds personalities grated on me, I will a little young to fully appreciate both Benn and Eubank too. Booth brothers because they were quite local to me I guess.
1. Max Schmeling 2. Gustav "Bubi" Scholz 3. Johann-Willhelm "Rukelie" Trollmann 4. Paul "Samson" Körner 5. Graziano "Rocky" Rocchigiani
1. Lewis 2. Hatton (gotta love him really) 3. Carl Froch 4. Bruno 5. Haye also larry olubamiwo (can't justify giving him a place as he hasn't done much yet but i like him)
Hamed Khan Eubank Benn Bruno Not in order. IMO these are the UKs best (or at least most loved) boxers. I think Hamed is our best treasure though. He gave such great entertainment and even though he trash talked beyond belief, showed grace in his one defeat.
1. Kostya Tszyu 2. Vic Darchinyan 3. Michael Katsidis 4. Jeff Fenech 5. Paul Briggs Honourable mention: Daniel Geale Danny Green and Anthony Mundine are probably are more famous ones from this era, but they destroying the very sport they helped revive in Australia in the noughties with rubbish fights. Should also mention Lionel Rose; he has one of the more fascinating stories as a Australian championship boxer.
