If you were Deontay's manager what next logical step would be for him?

I'd try to make unification bout vs Wlad because too much risk to lose the title in next defences, and Wlad pays HUGE money when he unifies.

Just to remind you, both Ibragimov and Haye got multi-million paydays and took 50% of money while Wlad took other 50%.

So it would be the best option - unification bout vs Wlad.

    What are your thoughts?

Rematch with Molina or Jason Gavern. WBC will be OK with it since it will ensure the belt stays in the states.

He's going to make another soft defense. I would guess Szpilka or Arreola who after last night I think could still defeat Wilder. 50/50 fight.

I agree with Big Ukrainian. Since it's obvious he's a KO waiting to happen, do everything you can to cash him out with Wlad before he gets KOd by a bum for a lot less money.

Lol I agree with the guys here. If wilder doesn't get in with wlad soon some bum is gonna have a lucky swing and put his lights out. Whilst that'll be hilarious, it'll cost them big paper.

Smart money says cash out with wlad asap.

He should get a big fight before that chin fails him. If not it's going to shatter against a tomato can.

There is no easy defence for Wilder available. Duhaupas might very well beat him. Wilder went life and death with a guy that is not even a top 50 boxer.

Right answer. With Wilder's clearly fragile mandible, they better put him in ASAP with Wlad or Povetkin, whoever brings the better payday.

Because if some halfway decent HW KOs him first, he will end up working for peanuts as cannon fodder for up and comers for the rest of his career. He'll probably do that anyway, but at least he'll have the Povetkin or Wlad cash in the bank.

If I was his manager I would take the easiest route at every opportunity.

No one would have even heard of Wilder if he wasn't fighting in such a weak HW era.

Well to be honest he did nothing to earn his shot at the title. So he shouldn't be judged as the best the division has to offer outside of Wlad. I think most top ten heavies defeat him.
