Underated? How many times has he been robbed in these close fights.

    John Murray 77-75
    Micheal Hunter 58-57
    John Simpson 77-75
    Ricky Burns 58-57
    Akaash Bhatia 39-38

Just a case of British fighters getting the Nod due to being the home fighter?

yeah agree. small but awkward style, pretty fast hands, and is there to fight. also a nice mover.

im not saying he was robbed agaisnt a few names but he got damn close to stricking oil in all these fights

i thought he beat simpson given the knockdown, and i think he managed at least a draw against murray. not seen the others.

he's the type of journeyman fighter that we need in this country. not the cover up and survive types those most fighters feast on early in their careers.

our young fighters learn nothing from gimme fights, and should face some sort of challenge every step they take. just a shame all promoters seem to be obsessed with promoting an undefeated fighter rather than a quality fighter.

He managed to make most look bad. We have to consider that most of these are 6-8 rounders. It's easier to run ppl closer in 8 rounders as there isn't much time. Hamidi is a journeyman, with a talent for spoiling. If you're spoiling, and not actively going for the points, it's no wonder that he doesn't get the close decisions. He is a tricky man, good at what he does - making others look bad, and avoiding the big punches. He can be very very ugly to watch.

It appeared to be a distracted Murray who didn't like being clinched and head butted. But he landed enough decent body shots, used his strength in the 2nd half, and almost (perhaps did) scored a knockdown in round 8. Certainly enough to win an awkward fight.

I felt Simpson did next to nothing vs Hamidi, or was able to do next to nothing. Felt Hamidi won that one, at least what I saw of it.
