agreed... he does this every 24/7.... then straight after winning the fight he'll really praise the other boxer and becomes likable Flloyd and a good guy.... he loves playing the bad guy coz it makes money....he's more or less said the same thing in some interviews a year ago...when he said when he was quieter he didn't get noticed or recognition

 

truly floyd gayweather. only a girl gets that excited going to the mall. does he know people are not laughing with him but at him.

 

Well of course he has to repsect them on some level or else he would get knocked the **** out no matter how naturally talented he is...
But he clearly disrespects people with his comments, which goes way beyond 'fight hype'. The most dissapointing thing for me is that he's not even humurous, at least Ali, Naz, Toney etc were funny!!

Regarding the question, do i think people will be tuning in just to watch him get knocked out?? No of course not, those fans would tune in regardless. Its Mayweather vs Mosely for ****s sake!!2 great boxers sharing the ring, he's not gonna get any added boxing fan tuning in purely from disrespecting mosely. he's also not gonna pull in non -boxing fans because he's disrespecting mosely. The guy is just a ****ing jackass, simple as. Respect his ability in the ring, but not the person.

Yeh of course its going to drawa good viewing regardless, but drawing more viewers is where i believe is the main point, and this is because of his excessive disrespectfullness which no one else does which means its eye catching. If he was being a good person on 24/7, i dont think there will be as many general sports fans purchasing this ppv because they wont see the rivalry if you want to call it that. People buy into rivalry when it comes to boxing.

P.S I'd have to be blind not to see that this act whether he means it or not is classy. So id have to agree with you to an extent that he doesnt know the limit of his act.

I just want to see a great technical display and the winner to deserve the victory.

Us Floyd fans always tell you that this is a persona he puts on for fights. You don't believe us, but when Nazim says it, its true. Everybody that gets bent out of shape by Floyd's actions when we all know that isn't his personality needs to stop being so damn emotional.

Floyd is smart. He has a negative style that casual fans do not like. Most of his fights are boring. Who can forget everyone walking out of his Baldomir fight. He gets people to watch by making people want to see him get KTFO.
