I am very very pleased and satisfied with this result...finally the middleweight division has been cleaned up and there is a credible king for the throne. Now we need the heavyweights to settle things- and of course - the welterweights. Boxing is looking good again- it always does when a real champ IS champ.

Was nice to see a fight with Taylor not go to the scorecards for once!

The overrated Taylor has been dethroned.

One thing that I will always give Jermain: he fought all comers.

Grats to the new champ. :good

Jermaine was unconscious, completely gone. He would have been counted out anyways, it makes no difference.

I guess they wanted the ref to drag him up and give him a standing 8 count.

My theory is that most of the people saying this was a BS stoppage have a serious grudge against Taylor for one reason or another and simply wanted to see him take a bigger beating.

Besides this loss, I think Jermain set out and accomplished what he really wanted to do in boxing career-wise- I don't think his priority was to be the next Hopkins and fight for 20 years professionally so much as get his family financially set, which he's done. That's also why he'd fight everybody- to accomplish what he could while he could...it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him hang it up within the next 12-24 months.

The referee could of counted to 100.
No way was he getting up.
    He was totally done.
Nexting , it will be easier and faster for Pavlic.
The fix was in as you see with the score cards.
