WBA interim champ Yuovidov(11-1) will defend his title against Arutyunyan(11-0).

The article implies that Yunovidov has been promoted to full champ. Two weeks ago the WBA ordered Muslim(6-0) to fight his mandatory Julio Cesar La Cruz(4-0) and gave him until February 15th. Which is the day after Yunovidov v Arutyunyan. That order is linked above. I can not find more recent updates pertaining to Gadzhimagomedovs status. Muslim has not had an official title defense since October 2024.

The press release refers to La Cruz as the interim titleholder. It is my belief this is a typo. His official title is WBA Gold Champion.

No news on the WBC champs Lerena(31-4) and Wlodarczyk(66-4).

While only 2 bodies have Bridgerweight divisions a long path to unification lays ahead.
