He won his "Lineal champiohship" from a 47 year old man on a bad decsion.

He couldn't even defend his WBO chamiohsip one time.

    He sucks.

    An alpha-idiot.

You are apparently into some kind of primitive ghetto culture so let us bottom line this for you- you don't get a championship shot by being a loudmouth. You have to earn it. It is not Brigg's place to be challenging Wlad, and Wlad should simply have him arrested.

Look it up on the net. This article is called:

"The Story of Mike Marrone and Lou Duva "

I assume it covers much of the same ground the one you posted does.

Good story. Marrone just didn't pan out. Now, he's cannon fodder for mediocre HWs looking to pad a record.

Wonder if Wilder's people will come calling when they're ready for the next "defense?":rofl:rofl

Sorry if you don't understand scientificallg proven actions of alpha males like I do. If you did you would see why Briggs would clean klitchkos clock in a real fight. He has his number. Just like Sanders had his number tho Briggs looks back in shape now too.

But back on topic. If GGG or wilder did what Shannon did in this fight people would go crazy

You are just another ghetto loving idiot.

Briggs is a charity case looking for a last payday, and you mistake this willingess to sacrifice his health for drug money for alpha male behavior.

To me the KO of Marrone looked suspect. Shannon barely touched him and he was down and out, though it might be 'cause the guy was in terrible condition.

Ghetto loving? I'm white and rural. I see it for how it is. When Briggs was prime he was in a stronger division than wlad. He has enough time to hone his skills. He has the one thing you need to beatvwlad. One punch power

Bottom line Shannon needs to fight some quality before he should get a shot..

    Just like Wilder did...

It sure did. It most definitely looked like he laid down for a dime. :-(

The entire Briggs fiasco is being financed. Another fatbody he "beat" also laid down for him (Richard Carmack) a few fights ago.

To see where Briggs is really at, look at him struggle with Zumbano Love for 12 rounds. Then, closely examine the "fights" he's had since that fight. Look at Petranyi -- there's another questionable opponent and result.

Briggs has actually faced considerably WORSE opposition than Wilder has in the past several fights and -on top of that- the conclusions in several of them appear to be questionable.

^This is all there is to it.

He needs to fight someone who isn't likely to accept money under the table, someone who wants the shot he's trying to get. He actually needs to fight and legitimately beat TWO top ten guys... but he's not. His promotor (let's face it, Briggs isn't self promoted OR financed) is making sure he doesn't get in with a real contender who's hungry because then Briggs would more than likely lose. If he loses, then the promotor who wants him "sold to the public as a credible opponent" wouldn't be able to get a return on their investment in him.

This guy could very easily take the correct route towards earning a shot, but he won't because of the risk. He's a worse opponent than Leapai, Mormeck, etc. and those were awful fights.

You know nothing about boxing. Your alt will be gone as soon as he's added as another bum on somebody's resume.

The best thing he could do is earn some credibility by beating credible opponents. One round stamina, roids, and zero defense won't get him anywhere except stopped vs Wlad... and I'm assuming even you know that much.

this linear champ where he gets another title is sh.it .
and by the way, they polled over 150 boxing writers back then the next day on who they thought won that foreman fight....4 out of 150 had briggs winning :rofl he ran from a 48 year old man for 12 rounds :-(

and winning a WBO title over the fat white wolf and losing it in his next fight to a guy half his size pretty much makes him a never was.
