I've only seen his fight with Santos in which he dominated and even stunned/knocked him down. He seems to have good skills and speed, he likes to circle his opponents and not stay in front to trade, that is all i know

Looks very beatable, skillfull not a big puncher,

Hence why Cotto and Pac wanted him, easy world title for them as he's not in their league, no offence to them like

Don't underestimate Yuri. Very slick guy who moves well and has tremendous stamina. He is solid defensively and could find it very easy to keep the much smaller Cotto at bay over 12 rounds.

I'm pulling for Miggy but this fight worries me.

Very slick fighter. Has evolved alot since the first time i watched him. I forget who it was again. Maybe Tsurkzan.
I dont know about this fight for Cotto. I think he has enough power to stun Cotto and enough stamina to crank it up in the later rounds when Cotto tends to fade to take him out.

**** i dont like this fight for Cotto.
I think Cotto should take a fight against a lesser known fighter.

He fought in the most boring fight of all time against Anthony Thompson. He is nothing special.

This guy impressed me against Santos but I would still pick Cotto over him.

I've seen him about 10 times. Light puncher, good footwork, technically very solid with fairly average talent. Very intelligent in the ring though - he always comes in with a solid plan, and I've seen him fight three or four different styles depending on the fight, and he very rarely makes any mistakes. He's the kind of guy who will probably always be underrated because he doesn't have obvious talent, and you need to watch a lot of him to see his strong points. Sort of like a 154 pound version of Steven Luevano, only a little more versatile and a little less relative quickness.

Anyway, I wouldn't be surprised if Yuri fights backing up and frustrates Cotto that way. I also wouldn't be surprised if Cotto bulldozes right through him. Stylistically, he's all wrong for Cotto, but there's probably a big enough talent gap that Cotto can overcome it.
