Yuri Foreman

Never saw the movie but I consider Foreman the favorite in this fight.

He was the first "white boy" the main character fought. He threw his head into a wall and he was out cold. But he was beating that dude's ass. They made him seem like he was heavy handed as ****.

 

i only seen the movie once when it came out in theaters but i will have to check it out again

Honestly this is Cotto's fight to win or lose...it has nothing to do with Foreman. Everyone is on this dude's nuts nowadays. Before Santos, Foreman wasn't ****. Everyone said he's a basic fighter. A runner with good fundamentals and nothing special. Then he beats a calcified Santos in an ugly bout and all of a sudden he's something special. Let's not look into Daniel's complete underestimation of the guy in front of him. Let's not look at Daniel's long ass layoff. Let's not look at his complete and total lack of inactivity during the fight. Let's not look at how Foreman was about to fold under Santos' pressure in the FINAL round of their fight when Daniel woke up and realized he was on a ****in' PPV card.

Honestly...Foreman is a 154lb version of Michael ****in' Jennings. I'm not sure how Cotto will look or move @ 154, but Foreman should pose no threat.

 

varg: what do you figure cotto's shot is in this fight? i love the man as much as i presume you do, but i don't like the stylistic match-up, especially given cotto's new propensity to throw exclusively arm punches. like to hear your input

I also would like to add that Foreman's eye cuts up just as easily as Cotto's and I can see that being a factor in the fight. Cotto is quite notorious for busting some faces up.

 

Foreman sucks, I saw him fight Anthony Thompson, who he clearly lost to but was given a major gift decision. Guy can't crack an egg, either.

 

He clearly outboxed anthony thompson. Maybe you should look up the scoring criterias of a fight.

 

Maybe you should get your head out your ass and then watch the fight, the ****in guy lost. Do you follow the German judges criteria for scoring a fight or are you ******ed?

 

I agree.....Cotto will bust him up. I think Yuri is taking this fight lightly thinking that Cotto is washed up. Surprise, Surprise Yuri !!!

The Santos fight was a fluke...Yuri would have been dismantled by a
well conditioned and focused santos.

Cotto will put him out in the late rounds by cuts and body work...you will see the Cotto of old with a lot of activity in the later rounds!!!
