I dont really know much about Yuri Forman but just noticed he only has 8 ko's out of 28 wins....

Not much power at all by the sounds....i think Cotto is safe.

Does anyone who has seen him fight believe he is a real threat...?

It is possible to win a boxing match via means other than knockout.

did you know that Malignaggi actually won 4 rounds against Cotto, 5 on one of the judges' scorecards?

And Cotto was a huge hitter at 140. His punches won't hurt JrMWs like they did JrWWs.

Foreman had Daniel Santos down anyway.

cotto's power @ 147 had significant difference much more at 154.

i see this fight will go 12 rounds for foreman. but i had a feeling that cotto might stop foreman with body punch!

featherfisted with only 28 wins will never win against a strong puncher with more experience in cotto.

Never is a long time. Cotto hits hard as hell but if Foreman can move and not get worn down he could certainly win a decision. There are plenty of good fighters who haven't had 28 wins that on a good night could be lots of good fighters with more than 28 wins.

Foreman impressed me against Santos.....he almost stopped him Santos is much bigger than Cotto and less shop warned. I am picking Foreman by clear decision, but wouldn't be surprised if Foreman stopped Cotto in the late rounds. I can see Manny Steward throwing the towel in!

I saw an interview and piece on foreman and they basically said that he really doesn't want to hurt anyone in there in terms of brutally knocking someone out, he's more content with just winning... I don't think he's feather fisted I just think his style is one that doesn't go for KOs

He has a boxer's style which also brings less KO's.

But yeah, if he's not KOing tomato cans...

You guys who are picking Foreman, isn't there a sense that a close fight is hard for Foreman to win given his style and who the opponent is? Let's say it's 115-113 on your card for Foreman...do you think that is the type of fight he would tend to get the nod in, given the circumstances?

Cotto was a good fighter, never great. Now he is over the hill. The beatings he took ruined him. Truth is Cotto has stamina problems. He runs out of gas around the 7th round and starts getting nailed time and time again. Yes, Foreman is not a big banger but when the guy in front of you has an empty tank, you can go for the KO and get it. My gut tells me Cotto gets stopped in the 9th round.

Foreman asked Jimmy Kimmel when he appeared on the ABC late-night talk show recently. “I’m a teacher. I’ll tell him, ’Don’t hurt your fellow man.’”

“He wants to win fights with skill, and he doesn’t want to hurt anybody. After all, he’s a future rabbi,” promoter Bob Arum told ESPN.
