    You need to get it in your head that just because a fighter beats another fighter in the amateurs, it doesnt mean the same outcome will happen as a pro. Remember Cotto against gold medallist Muhammad Abdullaev. He beat Cotto in the amateurs, but in the pros Miguel pummel him into quitting. Amateurs are amateurs, pros are pros. In Cuba they traing boxers to become great amateurs. Others countries use the amateus as a way to get the fighter ready for the pros, where it really matters.
    I dont know how else to say it, but being a great amateur does not always mean you will be a great pro. Some amateurs adapt to the pros well and some dont. Gamboa is on the right track, but is too soon to tell.
