He's fast...one of the fastest in the sport but not the fastest....I think Zab is faster and Gam my be on par with Floyd and Manny.

Disagree. Lopez is by far more slolid in the skills department and has a more technical demension than that of Gam. Gam is more talented and natrually gifted but he has many holes in his "D". He looked amazing with matagwa but I thought he would anyway due to the style match up. But he's struggled with boxers who had more skills and Lopez has an abundance.

 

Jones at 40 is still faster than Gamboa, watch the Lacy fight.

All of boxing, don't know. He is damn fast. A treat to watch. The fact that he's slowing it down a bit and adopting a more careful and disciplined approach just makes him all the scarier, though. :good

 

I don't see how the opponent changes the speed of punches. It's not like: Man you're good, i'm gonna punch in slow motion.

 

Hell yeah. He looked like he would beat any of the little guys that night. He was focused and disciplined for every minute of every round.

 

people critize mtagwa for being average but 4 months ago alomost KO lopez...
i believe gamboa is getting more experienced,working on his defense and we are witnessing a very improved boxer...the better the opposition,the better gamboa gets

 

gamboa's hands are extremely fast, but it's really hard to say who has the fastest hands in boxing. when pac throws punches at WW, they're barely visible (and some aren't from certain angles). plus, gamboa's a featherweight, so of the guys he's competing against like pac, floyd, khan, he really should be the quickest. the most impressive thing about fighters like gamboa and pacquaio is that not only are they fast as lightning, but they have a ton of power as well. that is truly impressive.

 

Have you seen Jones handspeed ? No amount of PED 's can give you that .Watch the 6 punch combo he hitr Lacy with at his age and tell me if you know what lightning is there youngin !! Gamboa is fast no doubt but he's kid flash and Jones is the original flash !
