After getting thoroughly outboxed by Luevano, Concepcion will get outboxed and probably knocked out by the more powerful hitting Gamboa. Bernabe needs to retool his skills. He looked lost in his last fight.

I would like Concepcion to have a rematch with Luevano, or a JuanMa fight and last option a Gamboa fight if he can't land in the first 2...

I don't think Concepcion is all that good. He can punch a bit, but I think Gamboa's speed and ability will overwhelm him to a back on the ropes stoppage due to not throwing back around the sixth round.

This is a non-issue. Gamboa by brutal KO.

    I don't like this.

If Gamboa is fighting Concepcion instead of Luevano, that means Arum is gonna match JuanMa with Luevano, meaning Bob Arum's BS talk of Lopez-Caballero is... well, typical Bob Arum bull**** talk like "we're gonna look into Pavlik-Abraham". Of course Bob.

F*ck that. We are totally hyped up for Lopez-Caballero and Gamboa-Luevano is pretty solid too, but this news makes that big HBO double-header highly unlikely.

Who cares, this is a great fight if this is real ... Conception can box and he's Pacquiao like minus the hand speed. I think he can truly test that chin of Gamboa ... Gamboa is explosive but i'm sure that it would be a grerat fight. It'll be a shootout until the last man is standing. Gamboa is not going to blow Conception out the frame.

If Lopez is having a hard time making the super bantamweight limit then its best for him to fight at featherweight against a featherweight titlist ... he'll be the #1 contender for that strap anyway being the WBO champ at a lighter weight class.

If this comes off as being a set up for those two to fight ... someone might get upset.

i actually think bernabe concepcion is a good prospect but he's definitely not ready for the major fights. i think right now luevano (again), gamboa and juanma lopez beat him. against luevano he looked absolutely unsure on how to box a technical boxer. i think juanma and gamboa are both better than luevano and it would make no sense at all to pit bernabe against either of the two.

It would be a competitive fight, but Gamboa will beat him.
