Here is some great news that I found: Lopez will defend on Nov. 6 in a Showtime-televised bout against 35-year-old ex-world champion This content is protected (39-5, 35 KOs) at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, and Gamboa has been mandated to face WBA champion in recess, This content is protected (43-0-2, 22 KOs), of Indonesia, in accordance with WBA organization rules. Wow, do any of you guys know if this is true ??? :good
this is old news bro... last month WBA made Gamboa-John mandatory in order to give john a chance to gain back his belt (gamboa was the official super champ and john was champ in recess). Gamboa's team accepted but John's camp decided they didn't want to face gamboa yet. they asked a special permission to the wba to fight Saucedo instead (a bum with only 1 ko in nearly 40 fights) and be able to consider it a title fight anyway... they said they would see about Gamboa after that. the shitty wba accepted and let him be super champ again without facing gamboa, so now, for the first time in boxing history, we have two super champs of the same brand (wba inc.). but here's the interesting part: because both Gamboa and John are now official super champs, the WBA scheduled a title fight between Barrios (the dude Gamboa recently destroyed in Germany) and Berry for the "vacant" WBA normal champ. wait, it's not over yet! because the wba now has 2 super champs and one normal champ (the winner of Barrios vs Berry), they also need an interim champ!! so, believe it or not, they also mandated an interim fight, but i dont remember the fighters now. to make it short and sweet: before the end of the year, we will have 4 official wba champs atsch
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hRqij4PUgs[/ame] does this mean JML is going to take care of Caballero if he beats Marquez?
What the hell, all the hullabaloo from a shitty sanctioning org sounded exactly just like a TV home-shopping infomercial:rofl
