    Maybe he's as slow p4p, but he is way more skilled than Baldomir (at least since his comeback) and has far more power for his size. :yep

    Gamboa throws out a left hook and overhand right from outside, in no hurry. Ponce De Leon throws a ponderous 1-2 and falls short, then blocks a counter combo from Gamboa. Ponce De Leon tries a left uppercut from across the Tecate logo. Gamboa is backing up and pushing out his jab. Ponce De Leon targets him with a right jab and just touches his cheek. Ponce De Leon is coming forward and swinging left hands over the top. Gamboa isn't really countering much, just moving backward and pushing his jab up. Ponce De Leon keeps walking him down and throws a long leaning right jab to the body. Another left hand lead from Ponce De Leon misses as Gamboa skates past the ropes.

    Gave it to Ponce De Leon, he was able to block Gamboa's work and time him with his jab. Gamboa doesn't seem to really be implementing a gameplan so far.
