    He seems like he respects Leon's power or he just doesn't want to go inside and finish of Ponce who I feel is there for the taking. That being said he clearly outboxed Leon.

    Ponce is game. Looking better than expected. down on cards but great bet win or lose he should be 5-1 max. PDL is in it after 5 rounds. Gamboa having trouble landing more than 1 shot.

    Ponce De Leon throws a few overhand lefts coming forward. BOOM! Ponce De Leon is hurt by a right hand walking right into it. Ponce De Leon is wobbling on one leg and then comes right back and is hit again! Ponce De Leon is throwing the overhand left unconcerned. Gamboa is disciplined, hopping and two-stepping in circles to his left and throwing jabs and long rights. Ponce De Leon keeps coming and eats some jabs. Ponce De Leon is right there in his chest. Gamboa can't get space. ANOTHER big counter right hand as Ponce De Leon landed a looping left. What does Gamboa need to land to drop him?? Gamboa now stands in front of Ponce De Leon, jabbing and leaning forward with his chin held up high. Gamboa circles back with his hands down.

    Won the exchanges and controlled movement in the ring. He is really landing some clean punches on De Leon and it is only a matter of time, I feel, before he breaks down De Leon. He is really putting on a clinc though.
