    It's a shame Gamboa exerts so much energy using his foot movement as defense.

    If he kept his arms up and stayed in the pocket more and countered from there he's be more effective and use energy better.

    Gamboa is flashing his hands out in singles and short combos, landing on Ponce De Leon with jabs, hooks, and uppercuts. Ponce De Leon keeps trying to get in, and pushes out some sneaky right jabs while whipping that overhand left around with every forward step. Gamboa is skirting back and avoiding Ponce De Leon's slower shots with ducks and simple turns of his chest. Uppercuts landing for Gamboa now. Ponce De Leon is throwing lefts to the body and touching Gamboa with the tip of them but paying for it with crisp counters landing over the top on him.
