Crawford is now boxing southpaw. NICE lead left hand to the face of Rios after some cautious leftward circling and right-jabbing. Rios took it pretty well. Rios is ducking and swooping in trying to land another found-money overhand right thrown blind over his head. Crawford switches back to orthodox and gets the left jab going. Doubled. Rios just watches. 1-2 by Crawford! Hard! Rios dives in trying to grab but eats a counter left hook. Crawford jabs into Rios' high guard while sliding his feet back. Good right hand by Crawford to the temple. More jabs into the guard. Rios is hurt by a pair of thumping left hooks to the body as Crawford straightens his legs and stretches over. Another nice rapid-fire combo of left hooks to the body by Crawford.

Round 3

Crawford is boxing very intelligently, taking long strides to circle in a wide spherical pattern while working high stiff jabs to the face and heavy doubled hooks to the flabby pot-belly. Crawford is now southpaw again and drills Rios into the corner with some jabs and straight lefts. Wild right hand by Rios as he swings freely to get out. Rios now showboats a little, rolling his head around and dropping his shoulders. Crawford just jabs him in the face from the orthodox stance, five times in a row. No head movement, no attempt to block or move away. Rios just eats 'em up. Crawford snaps the jab and backs up, setting a trap. Rios walks in with his arms up and is punished with two more hard left hooks to the body. Clinch. Crawford jabs and moves nicely. Rios says NOM NOM NOM.
