I don’t think it particularly matters what weight it’s at out of the 2 weights mentioned.

    Who wins this matchup?

Prime Yuriorkis Gamboa was such a fun fighter to watch. I would have favored him to beat Navarrete due to his superior speed but I wouldn't count out Navarrete's chances to at least drop Gamboa.

For some reason I read the thread title as Gamboa-Navarrete NSFW, which I definitely don't want to click on.

Gamboa by decision. Navarrete is a big boy, hard to stop but I don't see him winning more than 3 rounds here.

****, I'd take the Gamboa that lost to Crawford to beat Navarrete.

I had bought into the Navarrete hype and even bestowed upon him the weirding way due to a strong chin and awkward looping punches from weird angles and unconventional distances thrown in combos. That was a calculation made based on him fighting far less accomplished guys than Yuriorkis. Gamboa was waaaayyy too fast and hit too hard. It would have looked like a Roy Jones Jr fight vs anybody prior to him going up to heavyweight.
