I picked Gamboa, but thats because I am hoping his chin holds up at the elite level. Gamboa's chin has still yet to be properly tested
Think it's a little early to say he has a glass chin, his knockdowns have not been legitimate, but you may be rite.
there will KDs on both sides coz both fighters are fast and hard punchers. the fighter who has the better chin will be the winner, and i think it's juanma.
comon man, you must have realised by now, on ESB therez only 2 types on boxers in the world. those that have super strong granite chins like margo, and those that have extremly fragile written all over them like Amir khan.
I'm not going to jump on the glass-jaw bandwagon, but Gamboa's chin is a bit suspect it has to be said, same with his defence. JuanMa hits hard and finishes you early. I don't think Gamboa could stand up to his shots. I'll pick Lopez inside 4. Not that Gamboa can't be a good fighter, just I believe JuanMa has the potential to be a superstar, and he has the beating of Gamboa.
Depends on how Juanma would handle the move up. There is two weight classes between them so if Juanma can be himself he should win a decision.
Two of my favorites, but Juanma has too much power for Yuri to handle unless he drastically improves his footwork. It's not that Yuri's chin is ****, it's that his balance is **** due to horrible footwork. Half the "chin checkers" on this forum don't seem to recognize the difference though.
i'll pick lopez in this fight. Most likely a decision win but i wont be surprise if he wins by knockout. Gamboa was knockdown against some dude, i forgot his name and we know lopez has knockout power.
