Yuriorkis Gamboa vs Juan Manuel Lopez

I'd take Gamboa. It's a risky pick with his chin hanging out against a powerful counterpuncher, I'd concede that.

But I think his style would cause a lot of problems for Lopez, who is more upright and static.

 

gamboa is like aaron pryor, once you knock him down he'll come right back at you like a hurricane.

 

I would want them to wait until they are both a little more technically sound before they fight.

As it is right now, whoever gets luckier with the hardest, wildest punch would win.

 

This would be a tough fight for either fighter, I pick Gamboa by UD!

I saw Gamboa's last fight and he has to be WAY less cocky to beat Juanma. That being said, I think he can beat him.

 

Gamboa takes Lopez to the late rounds and unleash his power...this time Lopez isnt fighting Mtagwa and cant take the punishment...gamboa wins by KO in 10

 

I like Gamboa but he is too cocky, too sloppy with his defence and I think his chin is a bit suspect. With Juanma´s power, decent timing and accuracy this will spell trouble. He can win it but I would favour Lopez.

 

lopez by KO inside of five rounds.. gamboa is a midgett that hasnt fought anybody yet and still has been hurt many times
