Who would have won at Featherweight? They were both undefeated, both hit hard for the class, and both have shaky chins.

Gamboa would have beaten anyone if he actually kept his head

Didn't he outbox Crawford through the first four rounds of the fight?

Juanma may have had a chance, but most likely Gamboa by KO

He was out boxing Crawford quite clearly. It was extremely impressive but the size factor began to play a big role in the fight and the combination of size and Crawford switching to southpaw threw Gamboa off. He found himself having to rush in to close the range with Crawford and started to get wild. Sure he got dropped a few times and lost but IMO Gamboa impressed me nonetheless. FOTY candidate against the #1 LW.

Gamboa also chose to fight stupid ('exciting') against Crawford.... you can literally see him choose to make statements by trying to impose himself instead of just boxing, which is where it started going wrong for him.
