    Gamboa at his best at featherweight taking on the unbeaten #1 Featherweight of today, Mikey Garcia.

    Who would you guys go for?

    I'd still love to see this fight even if Gamboa has dipped in form a little bit.

    Mikey very well could hurt Gamboa, who I think has a highly questionable punch resistance considering his lofty experience and praise.

    I think it would be like Gamboa/Salido without the KD's or point deductions, with Mikey fighting smarter and more tempered than Salido did. Gamboa rightful SD, 115-113 scores.

    Gamboa > Salido
    Gamboa is skilled enough to out hustle Garcia. Salido also would have stopped Garcia, he was really damaging Garcia.

    I agree, Gamboa SD Mikey or 115-113 UD Gamboa

    Gamboa for all his skill seems to have the Khan style of starting very fast...then slowing to "human speed" later in the bout. When Gamboa slows down Mickey would be landing those crisp straights time and time again.

    Gamboa in his peak beats him.

    He was incredible a few years ago before all his management troubles.

    Gamboa seems/seemed to get ahead of himself a lot and was horribly off balance. he gets like that against someone like garcia he could find himself in trouble.

    Gamboa could win but Mikey is more reliable, I think there's more of a chance he catches Gamboa with something big than Gamboa stays disciplined the whole fight. But when he's on, he's on. Nearly flawless performance against Solis. He could move in and out on Garcia and show him speed he's never seen before. I like Mikey but would be rooting for Gamboa.

    Excellent fight.
    I can't pick a winner in this.

    But IF I had to I'd pick Garcia by SD.

    A couple of years ago i said Garcia wasnt ready, he is ready now. They both 2 of my favorites, but as a good cuban picking Gamboa. It would be a heck of a fight. Can happen at 130.

    I am a fan of both fighters. I'd just be excited to see them square off. When Gamboa is disciplined, he's nearly unbeatable. I feel he would be for a fight against Garcia, and would take the clear UD. Too much speed, combinations and footwork for Garcia to handle IMO. I would love to see this fight though!

    Garcia by TKO, Mikey is quick enough and has good enough reflexes to catch Gamboa charging straight in chin up hands down
