Like I said before, no win situation for Gamboa, get him someone that that he can gain recognition from, Lopez was that man, bring Nonito to 126 he is a big guy anyway.

May God forgive your post about Arum. No one should desire harm to anyone and much less death, on the contrary, we should pray for him so that he can get to know God and change his ways.

God is the only one that can change a man's heart, without Him is not possible.

Yes they have, compay. Gamboa has been dropped several times but has never looked hurt from them, just flash knockdowns. Like you said, they've been from him being off balance, and Marquez is a great technician that has the ability to cause Gamboa to get off balance here and there. Though I feel the shop worn Rafa will be defeated in the end, but I think he could give Gamboa a little surprise before El Ciclone get's into his groove.

Si mi Compay, a lot of people that think that Gamboa has a weak beard are just mistaken. If you watch closely, he has never ever been seriously hurt and two of those knockdowns have been illegit, one against Ramirez ( a clear elbow to his jaw ) and against De Jesus ( a clear slip ). This is why Gamboa is so damm tough to beat, as he is not lopez ( who gets dropped or dazzed easily ), plus Gamboa is always on the move like a squirrel. This is why this kid is the complete package, way better than Casamayor in his prime. :good

I think this fight should be great for Gamboa's rep as long as he fights a healthy Marquez , a Marquez that has taken care of his shoulder and has trained properly for this fight ( remember Salido's excuse for the Gamboa fight ) , we all saw what a injured Marquez did to Lopez and I think this was the main reason for a Lopez vs Marquez 2 , Lopez won their first battle but it left many fans with a sour taste in their mouths , Marquez wasn't prepared 100% and was nursing an injured shoulder , now , looking back to Lopez debacle last week and seeing how Marquez rocked him with some good shots that night one can't help but wonder about what would have happened had Marquez been healthy and ready for that fight , an smaller fighter nursing an injured shoulder still managed to last 8 rounds against Lopez and still gave Lopez trouble so a healthy , fully prepared Marquez should be good for Gamboa , it's a fight from wich Gamboa should learn a lot too , remember the Marquez brothers are the most technical ( IMO ) among the mexicans boxers who are active at the moment. If Gamboa does a Solis to a healthy and ready Marquez it would be GREAT for Gamboa's career ( remember an injured Marquez STILL lasted 8 rounds to Lopez ) , he can be known as the boxer who sent RM into RETIREMENT. IMO . Peace.

Garfios, Vitaly didn't do crap to Solis. I have watched that punch countless of times and you can clearly see that Vitaly's punch didn't connect solid to Solis' face. Solis fell down because of the knee injury, not because he was hurt by Vitaly's punch. And you are saying that he didn't take care of himself? Well, he lost a lot of weight and got in very good physical shape but then the unexpected happened. No worries, I am not ashamed of backing him up with that post as everyone saw that Solis did managed to hit Vitaly good in the first. This loss did more good than bad for Solis, he has spent several weeks in the Hospital and he still hasn't gained weight. It shows that he is really pissed off now of what happened, and mark my words he will be World Champion after he recovers from his knee injury.

No se el porque tu siempre lo has criticado, con tan pocos Cubanos que tenemos, lo que tenemos es que apoyarlos y no criticarlos. :good

You know I support every Cuban athlete, but if he doesn't respect his profession why should I spent my money and time watching or supporting him, the guy threw his career away, he could had been a World Champ making millions and he left himself go, I wish him well and if he comes back with desire and in shape I'll b the first on line, like before, just because he decided against VK to coming in at his second lowest weight, do I have to applauder? He should had kept himself in shape, he didn't and paid the price, he was obese and his frame couldn't carried that weight. I will support my ppl but not unconditionally, we have a few of them that deserve our support more.
