Yuriorkis Gamboa vs Rocky Juarez - Prediction.

juarez has 5 wins in his last 15 fights. wow.... another thing that makes boxing look bad. putting that guy up against the #1 featherweight in the world

rocky's biggest problem even when he was in his prime was low work rate. everything had to be perfect for him to throw a punch. not much has changed except he's taking more beatings. due to low work rate again, i see rocky surviving 12 rounds but taking another brutal beating from gamboa.

 

Gamboa by one-sided beatdown. Most likely a corner stoppage.

 

Juarez is not going to win this but I still think that he may force Gamboa to work for the victory.

 

Is this fight still on? There's nothing on boxrec or anywhere, I sure hope it doesn't materialize. Juarez doesn't have anything for Gamboa, they should look for better opponents for him!

 

I could have sworn this fight card was scrapped, with Gamboa and Rios fighting in April.
