I really expected to hear something about him by now since I 'ass u me d' that he had a plan when he left TR. My understanding is that Oner still has his hooks in him. No fights lined up? We know he won't be fighting a TR fighter in the foreseeable future. Any one have any solid information on what he is doing? Looks like he will have been out of the ring for at least a year before he fights again.
Yeah maybe things will work out for Gamboa in the end,but right now it seems like his plan of divorcing his manager and Top Rank has seem to backfire so far, I hope he gets everything worked out though.
He's made some bad decisions and I hope this isn't one of them. He may have been better off to just to have honored his commitments and moved on once they were up. Not sure he can recoup the money he lost backing out of his last fight and then buying his contract out.
I'm pretty gutted about the inactivity of Gamboa over the last year; seems like ages since he beat Ponce De Leon. Gamboa is one of the most exciting fighters around. Would love him to fight Mikey Garcia or go up and fight Broner or Uchiyama.

looks like gamboa's career is strikingly following joan guzman's path (without the weigh issues though)......
I have not heard his name in years.. hindsight being 20/20. He would have given Pac problems.. Not afraid to admit that.
