I made a thread about this awhile ago, no matter how many times I said that this was a stay busy fight untill Gamboa/Caballero every Gamboa hater came on and started calling him a bum and cherrypicker.

He is not a cherrypicker. The guy doesn't even have over twenty fights. Let the guy breath. He needs more fights to stay busy and polish his talent. I just watch his WBA fight the other day and he is fast and powerful, but gets to cocky and is a bit sloppy at times.

A couple years ago I would ride with Guty Espandas Jr.
Good stay busy fight for Gamboa, but the fight's are only gonna get harder.
With over 400+ AM fight's the experience level talk is void, Dude is ready now.

let's throw him in there with the Big Dog's, let''s see him try & stomp.

This is a stay busy fight before he gets a shot at Caballero.

You really think he is ready for the big dogs? I will say this, if he gets rocked, he will go down in a ball of flames throwing back bombs. I really think he should keep fighting top ten or fifteen guys until he is much more stable. He is a bit sloppy and careless. I said it before, he possibly needs a better trainer.

How tall is Caballero? Find him someone around his height to see how he performs. Yes, I know he will get sparring partners for that, but it would be interesting to see if the height would bother him.

He is not gonna get any better than he is now IMO.

Don't think a new trainer really changes him either, at this point he is what he is. he has alot of experience.. even more so than some champions.

Gamboa right now is ready as he will ever be.
I'd like to see him in there with the best Feather has to offer.

Gamboa is definitely NOT ready for the Big Dogs.
