His last fight he beat an 8-5 SMW but was that fight even at SMW? I don't see the weights listed on boxrec? WTF?

By simply signing to fight the champion and having any sort of name within boxing your automatically gain a rank, it's **** but it's pretty much what happens with every unranked challenger.

Rankings don't mean jack ****. Mack is a decent opponent for Froch to stay busy with.

Most rankings are a joke, so is Mack at 5.
But to get to the main point here, Froch deserves a freebie after the opposition he fought the last couple of years.

I'm not debating Froch's choice of opponent. I've seen people post that the IBF is the 'best' of the alphabet organizations so I couldn't resist bringing this one up. I'm surprised iceman71 wasn't all over it. :D

Only trolls like Failey pay attention to rankings. Without the ranking his boxrec warrior status would be highly threatened. Rankings do not mean a thing.

    Is this a serious thread?

    The answer is nothing, obviously.

Serious? Not really. Like I said earlier. People point to the IBF as the best of the orgs though so I'm having a little fun with it. Plus it gives Michigan ***** ample opportunity to continue flooring himself.

Beat a shot Omar Sheika by a tough decision? Got battered by Tavoris Cloud

  15. He got ranked by showing he can be KO'd. Mack is an easy KO for most anyone 168 + and even some middleweights. He has no defense and consistently crumbles under accumulation of punches.
