    From The Ring:

RingTV.com has learned that IBF super middleweight beltholder Carl Froch will defend the title he won from Lucian Bute against Philadelphia's Yusaf Mack on Nov. 17 in Nottingham, England before engaging Bute in a contracted rematch.

Froch probably struggled to find a better opponent.

5 round fighter. Horrible stamina. Worst ive seen. It a decent boxer then once the mid-rounds hit he folds.

Froch should get some decent work, fight being somewhat competitive early on, Mack tires, Froch accumulation takes effect, then probably finish him with a brutal ko. Id say fight goes 4-6 rounds max.

All I remember is he lost to Andrade and I'm sure he lost to Johnson at 175.I thought he was a light heavy now.
No matter.**** opponent and I think Matchroom have had to have a good scrape at the arse of the barrel.

I wish Froch would fight Kessler again.

He normally fights at light heavyweight, his record is 31-4 with his 4 losses to good fighthers coming against Tavoris Cloud, Glen Johnson, Libardo Andradre and A. Berriro.

Ring have also posted an article on him-

pretty safe opponent, having been knocked out by cloud and johnson recently and coming off a win vs 8-5 Sabou Ballogou :rofl
and not to mention he will have to "drain" down from 175 to 168.....

i mean if everyone is gonna rip Ward for fighting a "drained" 175 pound guy, then .......well you know....

If this fight goes through Yusaf will have his moments because he does have ability and is more athletically inclined when compared to Froch.

The fight will most likely end with a TKO for Carl, just two different calibers here.

Thanks, the only thing I knew was I read on the ring. that he KO'ed Angrade og lost to Glen Johnson & Cloud.
So I guess he can punch, but thats about it and as you wrote Froch will grind him down pretty fast.

Hes actually a decent boxer. Had him up against cloud at the time of the stoppage, however his stamina is the worst ive seen at this level.

Good stay busy warmup for Froch. No problem with it. Froch will get some rounds against an experienced boxer and get some rounds in

Safe bet for the Bute rematch. It's all good, he deserves this kind of fight...
