The IBF number 1 spot is less then 5 days away. Glen Johnson has the luxury of no travel. Yusaf will be flying in Tuesday. Press Conference WED, Weigh-in Thurs, and Fri Fight night. Both man have said they are ready in several interviews. Friday night will be an all out war between older fighter trying to hang on and a younger fighter working on making his MARK. LETS GO MACK!!!
never felt that mack was a legit world class threat. but he stragnely seems to have improved at his age and weight. very good slip and counter style. i doubt johnson could march over him. as thats the style mack should be looking for. interesting that both have styles that should work for the other opponant. glen johnson ko1
Ever since mack lost his father the man is totally different much much more dedicated to the sport i hope he wins i really do good luck to the guy
Mack can become an easy opponent for a name fighter if he wins. Johnson has already fought what his face twice and lost.
^ Clinton Woods? Dawson? this is one of the first FNF in a while that I am heavily looking forward too. reasonably big fight .. with big stakes (Title Eliminator) on the line
Mack tends to fade later in the fight (Andrade, Henry).... But he has the fire power to do damage early..... I think he'll be able to hurt and drop Glen Johnson... The problem is, that I'm not sure if he'll be able to finish him off.. He becomes a bit Jermain Taylor like in that department... I'm going with Mack by decision...
