Mack really needs to work on putting his combos better and getting his conditioning to go more than 6 rounds. He has a very good right hand that could surprise even some of 175's best, but he doesn't follow through with it, someone like Glen Johnson could beat him with workrate, Chad Dawson would beat him with his workrate and accuracy, really the only top 175 fighter I could see him beating maybe would be someone like Tarver, I doubt he could do tha,t but Tarver's open for the right hand, if he improved a little bit and put his combos together he could beat Tarver, but not currently.

Who is Nathan Cleverly? He hasn't fought anyone yet, let alone someone of the caliber of Mack. Someone in another thread stated that he would stop Dawson and i was interested to see who he fought, then i laughed it off when i seen how he only has about 4 stoppages out of about 13 or 14 fights. Lets see him fight someone before we jump the band wagon.

I think Mack has a great chance at beating Woods( especially if he fights him the way he fought Tarver), Francis and Erdie( espeially). I think Diaconu would be way too much for him though.

    :-(

Dude Diaconu is on the same level as those guys, alot of people felt that Henry beat the guy...I really think that Diaconu is average at best, and like Henry he would have a very tough time with Mack's speed, and Diaconu did seem to gas out in his fight with Henry and he made Henry appear to be a fast handed fighter, **** what would Mack look like vs him???

this is minus BHOP and rjj respectfully but honestly his Defense is good his ONLY problem to be really is his stamina and a left hook that's all he needs those are two things he can get when i say left hook i mean the follow up he just needs to throw it....

With stamina he beats woods, tarver, glen johnson he would need a left to beat dawson..

Why did Mack lose to Andrade and Berrio? Because of inconsistency and lack of focus/concentration. Mack doesn't have the kind of lateral movement to avoid Diaconu constantly.I think Diaconu would go to the body and out last him the way Andrade did. His defense is not as bad as Henry's and hes a lot faster on top of being a harder puncher. I also don't think Diaconu's stamina will be a problem and in fact, Mack didn't go to the late rounds with either Berrio or Andrade and i personally rate Diaconu higher than i do both of them in any category.

I like Mack and I'm glad he beat Henry the other night in a good fight. He's a flawed but exciting fighter. Lightheavyweight is a thin division and can use some new blood like Mack. He can't beat Dawson, Hopkins, Johnson, and maybe a couple others but he gives everyone a tough night. I'd love to see him face George or Cloud with the winner taking on Dawson.
