I know Yusaf Mack personally and he's a cool dude I'm really pulling for him in this fight. He was really focused in training camp. He's had much sparring with Fast Eddie Chambers and Steve USS Cunningham (two good fighters). Now, Based on Yusaf's skill, durability, and determination what are your guys thoughts on his chances in this fight with Cloud. Also are there any strengths in Yusafs game that he can use on Cloud or are there any Weaknesses Yusaf can use on Cloud against him?
Mack has been known to pull off the upset before...I remember when he beat Chris Henry on ESPN a couple years back...Henry was getting a lot of "hype" at the time too...
Tarvoris Cloud hits very hard, too much a hard hitter to be taken by a skillful approach of a guy such as Yusef's. I've seen Yusef's effort against Andrade and Glen Johnson's against Tarvoris and my mind goes towards this - Cloud's power doesn't allow Yusef to make him fight moving backwards and that is a big no for the challenger. However he can mix up body work and going upstairs and somehow make Tarvoris work look crude and one-dimensional (?)
I give Mack the proverbial puncher's chance, but not much more. Dude has big power, but his stamina is poor and he isn't particularly durable.
Cloud is a different animal the guy's is a beast that can punch like a mule and take a good hit in return. I look for Cloud to break down Mack and possibly stop him late.
Good fight but Cloud should be a solid favorite. Mack simply isn't durable enough to stand up to Cloud. I see Cloud scoring a mid-late stoppage in a competitive fight.
i think mack can bring agood performance but i wouldnt be surprised if cloud goes for him and stoped him early
Considering Cloud out-Glenned Glen Johnson and Mack's performance in the Johnson fight I'll take Cloud by KO in the mid-to-late rounds. Mack should start off well enough, I just think Cloud hits too hard and puts his punches together too well.
Nothing against Mack, but I favor Cloud in this fight. Mack will have to land some good body shots early on to slow down Cloud, otherwise I just see Mack getting taken out around the 7th.
Mack is very hot and cold. Somebody earlier noted his win against Chris Henry, but then his failures in Berrio, Andrade, and Johnson have really let him down. I heard he and Otis Griffin really stunk out the joint last time out too.
I don't think much of Cloud's fundamentals, but Mack's durability is going to really be tested here and I don't count on him passing that test. If Mack can hold up and if he's ready to give the best performance of his career after a great training camp, he does have a chance at outboxing Tavoris. That's just too many variables to count on for me. Cloud should be a big favorite for the knockout here with Mack having an outside shot at outboxing him.
Cloud is quite the physical specimen, and Mack just isn't that good. Hopefully Tavoris puts on the gas and sparks him out of there in impressive fashion.
Every one of your posts are horrendous. The worst internet poster I have ever seen. **** one liners every time.
I see Cloud breaking Mack down and stopping him before 10. It'll be a good fight for a little bit before Cloud really takes command.
