Just watched a replay of Artur Beterbiev's TKO1 win over Alvaro Enriquez (replacement fight for the Cloud bout), and ended up watching the co-main event of the night along with it. This might be a bit too early to say, but I'm calling it right now. Yves Ulysse Jr. will be a world champ someday. He's got a very impressive, aggressive boxer-puncher style. His defense is solid, lightning-fast hands, power in both hands, great footwork, sharp reflexes, and beautiful combinations. Definitely watch out for this guy. Very interesting prospect for the future of the welterweight division. Also, WAR Beterbiev :boxer
Definitely agree on Ulysse... He's a very impressive prospect. Has all the Tools to go to the top...Eager to see what his chin is made of but from what I've seen of him in the ams he can take a good punch.
it wasnt the replacment fight, it was a stay busy fight, the cloud fight is still set for september 27th
I expect you'll be hearing some more sometime in the not-so-distant future. His debut fight was nothing to be impressed about, but even then he seemed to have good skills, just no experience. Both of his next fights displayed the kid's true potential.
