    Heys guys I didn't see the fight but I just read this on fightnews and was wondering if anyone saw it and how bad he looked after the fight. Cause this really doesn't sound good at all.

    Bantamweight contender Z Gorres (30-2-2, 15 KOs) took a ten round unanimous decision over Luis Melendez (26-4-1, 21 KOs) by scores of 98-90, 98-90, 97-91. Gorres, however, was dropped in the tenth round by a big left hand. He survived the round, but after the bout he collapsed and was wheeled out of the ring on a stretcher.

    These ALA boys drain themselves like crazy to make weight...figured something like this was bound to happen. Hope he's OK.

    Yeah I hope he's okay but honestly anytime a guy collapses well after the fight has stop its a very bad sign. I wonder whether or not it was from the one shot (i.e. a brain injury) or from exhaution. Eitherway when a man collapses after the fact it indicates continued progression of an injury, which likely wouldn't stop just because the man collapes. He probably needs a serious medical intervention.

    Like you said it can be anything, hopefully it won't be from a hemorrhage. Decreased cerebrospinal fluid from dehydrating decrease the cushion from impact.

    He was suppose to have a rematch with Montiel in feb also.

    Something about Gorres that makes him very vulnerable and week after 8 rounds. He should probably think about pulling out of Pinoy Power 3 now.

    I hope they ALA suspend operation until they get the right conditioning coach and trainer.

    Also, Z should retire. He is going to get hurt. His style is very susceptable to getting exhausted.Duck too low hop, hop 1-2 the same move everytime.
