Z Gorres underrated. Man! he looked excellent against [url]Cruz Carbajal[/url] and although Cruz was stopped because of a bad arm he still looked really good did Gorrez. I thought he beat Fernando Montiel to. I see he fought Vic Darchinyan to a draw, ive not see the fight but it figures because he is underrated is Gorrez. Very quick, good defence, good counter puncher.
I think one of the "slips" looked like legitimate KD to me (though I have to rewatch it), so I think Vic won it (although I would have wanted Gorres to win). But Gorres started out good, knocking down Vic early on in the fight with a counterpunch.
I think he lost that Darchinyan fight. There was a few knockdowns that was not called for Darchinyan in that fight.
Vic won that fight, it was close but clear. But he could've got the decision vs. Montiel and deserved a rematch. He has some impressive tools but looked poor in those later rounds vs. Darchinyan and definitely needs some improvement (I haven't seen the Carbajal fight yet, but Cruz is not relevant these days).
Agree. I dont think Montiel can handle Southpaw's he struggled against Too Sharp Johnson and lost to Gorrez imo and although his fight was a TD you could argue he did not like at ease against his last opponent who was also a lefty, he got cut i know but he also got dropped in the fight and it was ruled a slip, but it was an uppercut right on the chin that should of stood.
He lost against Darchinyan, I watched the fight, clear win for Darch, not close like some posters have commented. Beer bottles were flying all over the place. Not exactly a friendly environment for Vic.
He lost to Vic close but clear but was blatantly robbed against Montiel. I hope hes not planning on fighting anywhere other than 115 otherwise he will never be a champion.
