    Junior middleweight
    Zab Judah W12 Ryan Davis
    Scores: 119-109 (twice), 118-110
    Records: Judah, 36-5, 25 KOs; Davis, 20-7-2, 8 KOs

Rafael's remark: Taking a stab at junior middleweight, Judah, the former undisputed welterweight champion, won a lopsided decision against Davis, who never stopped coming at him. While Davis dropped his fourth fight in his last five, Judah won his second in a row since being stopped by Miguel Cotto in the 11th round in a fabulous fight on June 9. The fight took place outside on the Caribbean island and the fighters boxed through intermittent downpours from the sixth round on without the benefit of a tent covering the ring. Promoter Brian Young said that Judah may have broken his left hand and would have it checked this week. Young also laid to rest rumors that Judah had been tapped by Oscar De La Hoya as his May 3 opponent. Young said it isn't true and that there have been no talks with Golden Boy Promotions about the fight.

Sounds like a monsoon down there- Crazy stuff that we only have come to expect from Judah. Rough luck if he really broke his hand in the fight, I remember saying it was bothering him after his last fight on the FNF finale.

What's next for Zab? Obviously, this was a stay busy fight. People keep starting threads about him moving down to 140, but I think he's too proud of a fighter to move down and back away from the challenges and limelight of Welterweight (even though he probably cannot seriously contend at the top level of that division anymore). I guess the Oscar fight was just a rumor-

I'd like to see him fight Margarito, but I don't think he'll get the chance... maybe the winner of PWilliams-Cintron? It's too bad Berto isn't moving up quicker, I think Zab would destroy him personally.

Actually for all Zabs faults and mental weakness I can see him beating Berto.. I'm a Berto fan but he stands a little too straight for me to think Zab cant lay him out. His defense isnt that great either he doesnt move his head much. And it doesnt look like he has the most sturdy chin. It's a fight I'd like to see.
