pac isnt an especially smart fighter - and hes not as talented as zab. but hes a much more complete fighter. pac is just very good at what he does and he dares his opponent to stop him.
You controdict yourself with the 1st and 2nd sentence how can he not be as talented as Zab but be a more complete fighter?:huh Sorry but Zab Judahs biggest win is over Corrie Spinks he lost in every single major fight, including the first spinks fight. Manny is a better fighter over all especially mentally Manny is stronger than Judah.
The only things in common Pac has with Judah are similar speed and a southpaw stance. The things that could make a difference for Pacman are him being a southpaw and being as awkward as Joe Calzaghe in his movements. He has the speed necessary but to compensate a few inches in reach and size, he'll have to withstand getting hit to land his combos. 1 or 2 shots at the time will never work against PBF. A high workrate is needed to keep PBF on the back foot..
because i believe zab is the most naturally gifted boxer since roy jones. that doesnt mean that he developed into a great boxer. zab has way too many character flaws and thats why he fell short. there's a huge difference for me between natural talent and fulfilling that promise. there's no contradiction because, and i believe with any sports, there's only so much you can teach and then there's that 'X factor' that make a person rise above others. well judah has that 'X factor' without a doubt, but the tragedy is that he had little else to back it up.
Zab has a better jab than Pac. He throws a faster one shot with more power and accuracy than Pac. Has longer reach than Pac and counters better than Pac. At the end of the day PBF's fight with Zab will be a harder than a fight with Pac for those exact reasons.
Zab is a fantastic fighter for the first couple of rounds of every fight. He's also nothing like Manny, unless Manny became a taller, longer, slick, cautious counter-puncher last time I checked. Manny is certainly mentally tougher than Zab but no more adaptable. Come forward, weave, throw a few punches, pivot, step out, repeat. I haven't seen anything from him yet to convince me that he can do much else, but I'm open to being convinced. Maybe in his next fight I'll see something new.
what helps set pacman apart is he's very unorthodox when he fights - almost like he's dancing. any fighter (like diego corrales) who needs his opponent to plant his feet and set himself will spend more time walking pac down than throwing punches.
pimp is right EXCEPT i think that having freddie roach in the corner rather than ****ing Yoel "Worse than McGirt" Judah will give him a tactical advantage over Judah. He won't win the fight but at least he'll get some decent advice
Like him or not, Floyd's skills are unbelievable. Jab, straight right, overhand right, left hook, body shots, uppercut, balance, defense, and ring smarts. If and when Floyd takes away Pac's left hand, what will be his plan B. Pac has not had to make adjustments in his last 3 fights. That jumping in and out will not work against Floyd, he will pick him apart. Do any of you Pac fans really believe he will outbox Floyd? I hope not. Do not let your emotions control reality.
