Go for it...I guess.

A lot of people seem to ignore momentum, punch accuracy and placement when it comes to knocking people down/out. I'm not saying Mayweather is going to knock him out, I have overestimated my predictions of him before...but he is definitely capable of stopping Ortiz. Whether that be by KO, TKO, Ref stoppage, corner stoppage.

 

Way I see it, Floyd is gonna be cautious in this fight because he knows Ortiz can punch. I really see this as a boring fight if Floyd is still on top of his game. If he however, has slowed down, Ortiz could make this a very interesting fight. But I seriously doubt Ortiz gets KO/TKO'd.

I think he will be cautious early, Ortiz is a very good starter...but starts overcommitting/rushing in and getting reckless if he doesn't get you out of there. Mayweather will feast on this IMO. Think of the straight right he made Hatton walk on to in the middle rounds of their bout, jolting right hands using Hatton's momentum...and like Hatton, I don't expect Ortiz to go the distance.

That's just my opinion anyway.

 

Fair enough. Ortiz did slow down a lot in the fight vs Berto, so we'll just have to wait and see. :thumbsup

 

Ortiz would fight close and will keep throwing punches, Floyd will need to get off first and keep distance
