Zab Judah is a cowardly excuse-making quitter, and World class bum. Yes or No?

Zab didnt take a dive. He may have looked for a way out after realising he was being completely outclassed but his career deserves respect.

I do lol at the 'he could knock you out with one punch' stuff. Hardly a ringing endorsement that a pro could knock out an amateur!
Zab trained hard, went in there believing he could win and simply found someone too goo dfor him. Doesnt deserve the hatred being spouted.

Another of the long, list of black slick fighters who quit when they get punched in the mouth.

By the way, judah turned out to be khans first real ko win as a pro, he has plenty of tko's but never had his opponent counted out before.

    No fighter is a bum.

  5. I won't make any overreaching statements... but Zab did quit the fight. He was getting his ass kicked and looked for the quickest opportunity to bail out.

That being said, Khan is proving himself to be a beast!

He does not have the same heart as a lot of the tough greats throughout history, that is beyond question. The greatest example I can think of is sam langford: blind in both eyes he went in against tiger flowers, a great middleweight who would twice defeat harry greb, and knock him out in two rounds. That's heart.

So saying judah don't have the heart of these greats is fine.

But calling a professional boxer a coward is not fine. As fans we strive to see people challenging the best. Judah did this time after time.

I dont think Coward is too harsh if you accept he took a way out. He had a choice fight on ( probably lose ) but Khans been down plenty he could have turned it around.

He had a choice fight on or quit , he quit , that was the cowardly choice.

Anyway Judah has been a blot on the landscape for years. Good riddance

He is really a bum. You can't have those boxing skills and blow it like this if you are not a bum. Actually he reminds me a lot about Roger when JCC blew him away.

And like bradley he had a choice of taking the fight in the first place. Unlike bradley he did make the fight happen and step in the ring.

If you think the definition of what he did was cowardly than i'd say we could call you a coward for calling him from the comfort of your keyboard when he's been the one fighting these greats whilst you've been content with watching their careers.

Is he an under-achiever? Sure, Judah always seemed to be loaded with talent, but it was never fully realized.

However, all the other nonsense that you are implying with this thread I will never agree with. Professional fighters deserve more respect, and although he has had some down moments in his career, he still had the courage to go in there and lace them up. Zab Judah still accomplished more than 95% of the other fighters out there.

Respect the fighters and the boxing game, even the fighters that don't end up on top. They put their health and lives on the line for our entertainment.

List of "slick" black fighters right now:

    Devon "The Quitter" Alexander
    Timothy "The Sissy" Bradley
    Floyd "Courts 'n Jail" Mayweather
    Andre "One Hit Wonder" Berto
    Zab "No Heart" Judah

    Any left?
