For some reason, they want to lowball me. They want to lowball me and short change me and say, 'Ah, no, no, 50/50.' I'm not asking for anything crazy."

"They're talking about foreign sales and all that; alright, keep all that bullsh*t. I just want the American rights, 50/50, a regular split and that's it. You keep all your U.K. bullsh*t. I want everyone to know this deal is not me. It's not me that's not making this fight happen. I don't want nobody saying, 'Oh, Zab Judah don't want to fight Amir Khan.'

"They're using me for leverage with HBO to make HBO think that Zab Judah's the one not making it happen," he said "If they do a 50/50 split, right now, I'll sign the contract- right now. I'm talking about right now! No ifs, ands or buts about it. All I want is the 50/50 split. I'm not going to do nothing else. I feel like I worked myself back up to get back to this position; it's only right. He got a belt; I got a belt. If I was a contender, I'd take 60/40, 80/20, whatever, but right now, I worked myself back into the position where 50/50 is good."

Will Khan go for it if its 50/50 split even?:D

He does deserve 50/50. What has Khan done, beat Maidana and spar with Manny? Don't get it twisted, he doesn't have that much fanfare yet.

He must've confused himself with someone who is actually relevant to boxing. He doesn't deserve 50/50.

Seems fair to me. Zab is still a name in the US. Khan would benefit from having Zab's name on his resume. Zab would benefit from having a young hyped fighter on his. Both would be in a position to unify, after the win. Zab is not asking for the UK share, he will be bringing a lot of US fans....and only wants to split the US portion. Both are legitimate champions. Zab has a MUCH better resume. I don't see the issue. MAKE THIS FIGHT!

More people would watch Khan/Judah than Khan/Bradley. You have a title and biggest win is against Maidana. You're not in the status to dictate figures yet. They don't want to co-broke the fight.

judah needs to take what he can get. 80/20 in a fight with khan is better than what he's going to get fighting anyone else right now.

Zab doesn't deserve 50/50, even 60/40 would be somewhat generous.

U.K. rights/money goes to Khan. 50/50 on the U.S.rights. Go get 'em Khan.

this can't be true. neither bradley nor judah are household names and khan only is (kind of) in the UK, so what we're really talking about is which fight is more appealing to boxing fans. boxing fans want to see a competitive fight, therefore bradley sells more tickets.

plus amir khan does have some status. ****, he was just in a reebok commercial during the nba semi-finals. when was the last time you saw a boxer in a major commercial besides pac or floyd?

That sounds fair to me. Generous even. Khan is a nobody in the US, people still know Zab Judah.

Khan isn't exactly a big draw in the US yet, and Judah might actually still be a bigger/more recognizable name. Both guys have trinkets, and it's not like Khan has established himself as a clear number one in the division. I don't find Judah's request outlandish at all.

I dont know why people say Zab doesnt deserve 50/50, like he said hes worked his way up to the top KOing a tough mabuza and winning a belt. Hes a recognizable name and has been for a long time, so i dont see why he doesnt deserve 50/50
