IMO, the Bradley fight should have happened but Bradley was asking for more than the 1.4 mil. All i'm saying is that Khan tried his damndest best to get this fight but Bradley didn't. He kept saying he wanted Khan, but then chickened out.

He's right when looking at it from the casual fan perspective. Zab is a bigger name than Bradley. However, I would prefer Bradley-Khan as well.

As far as what Zab is proposing, its something Team Khan should consider. Every opponent that beat Zab in recent years went on to bigger & better things & eventually got a big payday. Khan is not really a big name in the states. And he would keep the UK money.

yes full blame goes to Bradley for the fight not happening, but I guess if HBO is going to pay him a set amount for no matter who he fights, I guess it makes sense to take on a lighter opponent. Maybe we'll see the fight in the fall

The Bradley fight had nothing to do with money. Bradley just pussied out.

50/50 is fair, considering it's the US money that's being split. As with most British fighters, their support is primarily British based. Few actually care for Kahn outside the UK.

Hopefully the Bradley/Khan bout will come to a fruition but I think it's time for these guys to start fighting each other and unify the titles and go on to bigger AND BETTER THINGS, rather than taking on lighter opponents. These guys don't need any tune up fights, IMO.

Zab, you'd probably spend it all gambling on the streets of miami hitting thugs and running off with their money anyway. Sign the ****ing contract before you play with matches again. this **** is pissing me off.

Judah still in his prime accepted a ridiculously low amount to fight Spinks. Now past his best he thinks he deserves 50-50 against Khan? He should take what he can get and thank Khan for the opportunity to become relevant again.

50 to 40 in favour of khan, winner takes extra 10, is fair

This is because boxing has very few draws. Khan has arguments on the split as his drawing power is on a different league from his opponents.

The amount of fighters that can make Multi-million $$$ fights are few nowadays. Khan is one of those fighters that can make multi-million $$ fights vs any opponent. The majority of fighters struggle to even be able to sell into the 1000's of tickets. This means people get an unrealistic picture of what they bring to the table i.e. they think it's a multi-million $ fight, they're 50% of the people fighting so they deserve 50%.

Essentially, Khan is the one bringing the whole interest and profile to the event. People believe (wrongly) that because the fight will generate millions they deserve a high % split when the money generated has very low dependence on that opponent. They are a side note.

If Elvis came back to life and did a concert you wouldn't pay the supporting act 50%!!!!

It doesn't matter if it's Zab or any other top 10 ranked fighter the amount generated on this fight will be wholely based on Khans drawing power at that point in time.

I won't comment on Zabs drawing power as I have done on another couple of posts, but people should watch his fights and the attendence before commenting on him being a draw.

Actually, I can't help myself. This is a pic of his last fight, which was for a World championship. There were about 100 people watching in his home town and half of them were photographers!

I think it would be a good fight though and very competitive.

I've already posted this on another thread.

Zab cannot dictate his terms . . . he either takes it or leave it. If he wins this fight then he can dictate his terms on his next fight.

why every khan fight there is trouble about money, its annoying as hell and it confirms a stereotype.
Khan vs judah 50/50 khan gets all the uk ppv money and the fight is in atlantic city where a lot of arabs and judah fans will show up.
That seems fair, team khan trying to lowball judah by having guerrero ready to step in.
