    Shadow has had an ongoing mental breakdown since Bivol embarassed Canelo in first gear. Guys just let him vent for a bit

    That's why I'm trying to break this forum out of the downer syndrome echo chamber as it relates to this fight. The YTBC is very excited about it and many boxers or former boxers asked about it is enthusiastic about it and many are picking Jermell to win.

    So this forum's largely negative reaction to this fight is definitely inconsistent with the real world reaction to it.

    Really, that's funny considering I expected Bivol to win and it played out pretty much as I expected. You just don't do your homework.

    It’s so obvious what you’re doing - trying to hype it up from a variety of desperate angles as if Jermell is going to be a tough fight from Canelo, so that when Canelo inevitably wins you can go on about how great he is

    Canelo is gonna hurt this dude, and I like Charlo's skills.

    The problem for Charlo is that Castano who is Canelo's height, but with shorter reach was finding him at will in the first fight and it took Jermell 20 rounds or so to figure him out.

    Now you have him coming off injury is he's still the smaller fighter no matter how people spin it. Canelo already hurt & ko'd legit 175 lbrs and that power is going to be different to anything Charlo has seen. Will he have his moments, probably, heck even Amir Khan did but look at what happened.

    Typing Mega Fight with capital letters doesn't make it a mega fight. Canelo is 2 levels above both Charlos and everybody knows it. It will be a fun fight though.

    This is not a great fight. Yes, it will be a fun fight but it's not positive for boxing as a sport* or significant for Canelo's legacy. The fight everyone wants is the Benavidez fight. If not that, then a Bivol rematch, or Beterbiev if he really wants a challenge.

    *This is part of a trend to fight not the most serious challenger but some other name (even if the wrong division, etc.) in a money fight. Just think about it. We should be having:
    Canelo Vs Benavidez
    Charlo Vs Tsyzu
    Fury Vs Usyk

    Instead we will get:
    Canelo Vs Charlo
    Fury Vs Ngannou

    Also Jermell is getting overrated here, he has some chance but mostly because we're not sure where Canelo is at and what his motivation will be like. Peak Canelo would win fairly comfortably.
