Crispy was banging his body up good tonight, but he still had stamina down to the very end. This was at 35 years old.

I noticed that. He wasn't tired at all.

Yup. Danny was down on energy in the 9,10 and 11th - but he did throw more punches.

    Garcia was the tired one.

In Championship fights, we've probably only seen a fully focused Zab maybe 5 times.

It's a shame that tonight, where his mind was right; his body seemed to of slowed down that half a step.

It's amazing how Zab isn't even close to shot despite all the beatings he took throughout the years.

I think it was mix of slight stamina issue and Judah just in general being a badass.

Because Zab didn't do much early on. His workrate in the first half was abysmal.

Definitely not a stamina issue. He proved that tonight.

It's definitely an issue with his head. When he gets hurt sometimes, his mind shuts down, shutting his body down in the process.

I agree, his mind was there but the body was a step behind.

All the references to "Zab has cleaned up his life" tell the tale.

When one parties, it doesn't help with stamina. Even if he's in the gym every day, doing his running, etc., late hours and drinking and drugging (if that's what he was doing) undercut all of that.

He is now living the good life, it seems, and it shows.

It was a war, and I forgot all about the ****-talk. I was just glued to the TV. I actually caught myself rooting for Zab a few times. It's sad seeing an old lion go, but he, if he chooses to retire, went out like a warrior.

i want to re-watch this fight in a few hours. he wasn't landing anything huge but he was peppering Danny with the jab. the difference in the fight to me was the knockdown Zab suffered. Zab showed tremendous heart and energy down the stretch. He actually looked like he got stronger and more energized in the 10th then he was at the beginning. he absolutely rocked Danny, with that right hook, and that one where he spun Danny around and landed the uppercut was nice. really impressed with Zab tonight. I think Danny did enough to win the decision, but Zab was very close.

Nah the guys he's faded against were better fighters than Garcia. Garcia you have to respect had a skill disadvantage and probably doesn't have the educated enough boxing game to break Zab down like some of his past opponents did. His defence is way worse then the other guys that have given Judah problems. Also he didn't have a huge size advantage either.

Garcia did some body work but it wasn't a clinical beat down at any point. I think Garcia has a very very hard time beating either Peterson or Mathysse. They are both naturally better boxer then him.

Moved his feet, kept his right hand working.

He didn't do anything eye catching, but he was doing plenty physically.
