What would happen in a fight between Chico and Zab at 140 in 2003? This fight came to mind when I saw different threads about Zab in one and Chico in another.
As most zab fights i could see it going both ways.... I could see Zab cracking Chico to the point of no return early on or middle rounds, but i mainly feel that Chico has too much aggression, guts, and heart and would outwork, outfight and outlast zab to eather a late TKO or UD.... but damn it could go eather way. that would be a great fight...
One guy I like Corrales The other guy I hate Zab thats why it hurts me to say peak for peak at 140 I'd go Zab
you have to remember, a completely shot corrales fighting above his best weight went the distance (barely i admit) with a prime Clottey... who while doesnt have zabs true power when landing, does have some power. Corrales at 140 wouldnt be drained and would be able to absorb some good punishment like usual imo.... still though, the more i think about this fight the more i can see zab dissecting him.... though i still give chico a hell of a chance. i have it 50/50.... this would have been a good fight.
I think Zab would have some moments with the late Chico, but the rangy power house is rather durable and would finish Super Judah inside the distance.
i dont think Chico would make it past the 4th to be honest....but then again, Judah is my favorite fighter, so maybe i'm bias?
