zab judah vs danny garcia how do you see this going?

I see this being a very good tactical fight, looking forward to it.

This fight will really show where Garcia is at. Both Khan and Morales used similar head hunting, all in or out strategies and I think Judah will atleast give Garcia a different look. I realize Garcia has faced more opponents then those two but were they really at a high level? That's why I'm basing things off of his recent opposition.

I'd like to add that if Garcia knocks him out I will rate it very highly, even more if he wins a decison. We've all heard the talk of Garcia's flaws, wide shots, too stationary, average hand speed at best, but if he looks impressive against Judah it will show he has a great ability to read fighters and figure them out. It will show his timing ability. I just wanted to put that out there before any of the Judah is shot/glass jaw excuses.

Garcia will own the division if he beats Judah because I think the majority of JWW are made for him. I think only the slicker fighters beat him. Heavy handed or pressure fighters would get blown out of the pocket by Danny's hard body shots and counter shots to the head, dude has underrated power compared to others at 140.

 

On paper judah should win. But judah is judah and will find a way to lose.

Kendall Holt has a glass jaw and Garcia could not stop him. Garcia could not stop Campbell either even though he beat the **** out of him. He's got a punch but it's not that amazing. However... Zab does have a glass jaw.

 

Good post. Though I think that in terms of the pressure-fighters at 140, if they can find their way in and smother him, he likely finds himself in trouble. The trick is getting there without eating too many hard counters first. Garcia is somewhat of a one-trick pony with his looped counters (though he is well rounded), but at least it's a very good trick that only needs to work once to end a fight.

 

Good point. I guess I am overlooking the part of staying inside and was only thinking of the getting there part. Garcia might be the type to get smothered.
