I don't like this current version of Zab being trained by Whitaker. He's too defensive minded. If it's at 140, I see Zab fighting a cautious fight with it being competitive early but as soon as Marquez lands some of his signature combos he'll get TOO cautious as he always does. Just enough for Marquez to squeeze out a decision.

Speed isn't an issue for Marquez. The man is a technician, he works off the feint and lateral movement. I definitely see him controlling the pace of the fight that way.

Again, history is not on your side with predicting a JMM stoppage.

He doesn't have the type of pressure to "fold" Zab, and he doesn't have the power to catch him. And he damn sure doesn't have the speed of combinations to catch Zab without catching some serious (and I mean serious) leather.

I think he wasn't trained by Pernell in his last bout; Zab said Pernell was like only in his camp as a consultant capacity. It's hard when you have to feed your kids; no wonder IBF give Zab lots of chances.

History actually is on my side. JMM was the first to stop Cassamayor. I didn't think that was possible at the time. Marquez has respectable power.

Judah has folded to more feather fisted fighters than Marquez (like Baldomir for example). Judah can win the fight if he catches Marquez early, otherwise he will get broken down IMO.

:rofl true. but i dont see marquez trying to pressure judah especially being the weaker puncher. at least not at first. no explanation for the Khan fight, he completely flopped that night. Marquez doesnt have those same physical advantages as Khan tho. but i see Marquez waiting to counter Judah and hes gonna be in for a suprise with the timing and hand speed of judah. Judah will get off first and might clinch to neutralize Marquezs counter combinations.

He was severely outweighed in that fight.

Zab is at his more natural weight at 140, where he was only stopped by Zoo in a fight where he should have been allowed to continue.

Who else has Zab "folded" against that was feather-fisted?

Marquez gets all the crdit in the world for being a great fighter. I'm not underestimating him, but I think you are probably underestimating Zab quite a but. It's the norm around here.

Judah might cause a knockdown or 2, but Marquez just too smart. The more hurt the guy is the more dangerous he gets still has one of the best recuperative powers in boxing, while Judah has one of the worst. Judah boxes he can make it a long night. He goes for the ko he gets broken down and stopped. He cant deal with Jmms body attack and constant attack. Marquez has bad habit of fighting down to opponents level, but a good scare or a knockdown should wake him up. Marquez TKO 9 Judah

If anything I've OVERESTIMATED Judah in the past. I had no doubt Judah would KO Amir Khan (I even bet money on Judah), we all know what happened in that fight.

I wouldn't say he folded against Spinks, but Spinks hurt Judah in their first fight (Spinks is as feather fisted as they come). I know I know he was *outweighed* but somehow managed to KO Spinks in the rematch. Sorry I don't buy that argument. Baldmor is no bigger than Judah. Baldomir is also slow, feather fisted and had Judah hurt badly in their fight.

We disagree on the fights outcome, that is why they fight the fights. I just feel given past performances, Judah only has a punchers chance. You are entitled to your opinion, I am entitled to mine.

Judah will win this and stop JMM in around 8 or 10 .

JMM might have Manny's number , but being dropped by Katsidis in his previous fight tells the true story of a 38 year old natural Feather.

Risky fight for JMM indeed, I think he'll win but it just seems like a lose/lose situation to me, yet again more questionable management by his team.

Head says Marquez, but heart says Judah.

Voted Judah b/c I see it as a potentially good rematch with Mayflower or fight with pac should Mayflower v pac not be made next.:think

:rofl i dont care if Judah beats Marquez AND Pacquiao. a rematch with floyd is unnecessary and we both know the outcome.
