JMM by UD if Judah does not press the action. If Judah presses I see him being stopped.

People are saying JMM is not hard to hit. Well neither is Judah. The difference is JMM has a good chin and an amazing heart. Judah is the complete opposite.
JMM also like everyone has pointed out has the advantage technically.

Here is the ones were Judah has the "obvious" advantage:
Power: Yes he does have the better power. JMM is no slouch in that department though. He has more than enough to stop Judah. He is the only guy to have hurt and stunned Pac and Pac has faced all WW in the past few years.
Speed: Judah has always been a fast fighter. He is not faster than Pac. Also JMM is much faster than he is given credit for. The guy has matched Pac with speed. Only guy to have done that recently as well. Trust me he can hang with the mighty Judah in that department as well.

What is Judah going to do when things stop going his way?
Fake a low blow when Khan was beating him?
Say he couldn't see from a cut like he did with Clottey?
Low blow and rabbit punch like he did with PBF?

Judah breaks when things dont go his way. People are acting like he is this great fighter. It always happens with Judah after he gets beat by the elite he faces a lower level fighter, he looks good then HES BACK!! Come on guys...

Are people forgetting he also was beat by Matthysse. Thats the guy he should be facing.

Funny thing is the focused Judah never shows up when he faces the A caliber fighters. Weird....

That's the problem Bogo, you think just because Zab is a southpaw, that he'll be easily dealt with Marquez's superior footwork. That will keep Marquez in the fight, but it won't be the open book you think.

    Let's look @ Marquez's vs Fedchenko.

Marquez for very long stretches of that fight was slow as molasses and listless. He was also not nearly as mobile due to added muscle and because his opponent wasn't moving around the ring furiously. Marquez has a tendency to match footwork rate with opponent. Judah is not a huge mover, or should I say, he doesn't use a ton of real estate when he does. This is where Zab's faster hands are gonna be a large problem for Marquez.

Marquez will have to press the attack to make Zab wilt, but as we've seen, Marquez is not adept at pressing offense. This will only feed the confidence of Judah and embolden him. Add to that, Marquez doesn't have the power to truly discourage Judah, not to the degree needed to put Judah into shut down mode where he primarily starts to think defense and starts to shy away from exchanges.

I can't wait for this fight, and honestly from the responses of the poll, I might actually bet big vcash on this one!

Zab Judah was one of my top tn fighters at one point... But he has no answers to Marquez attack.

Only chance Zab has a punchers chance, and Marquez has never been KO, and he's been in fights with much superior, techinically skilled, and just as fast as a "Prime" Zab.

Also, Zab can't deal with punishment, he folds and loses complete control.

I been saying since jmm vs pac that this is the best fight for him as pac tune up, A speedy southpaw.....I got JMM by late TKO but this bis very close to 50/50, Judah presents a real challenge and JMM should be given full props for taking this fight over some easier fights with big names like Rios.

I don't see how my point doesn't apply; without the proper angle, you simply cannot hit your opponent. Marquez has faced over 10 southpaws in his career, some slower, some faster, and he's gotten lead foot positioning on all of them. Speed alone will not trouble Marquez; Judah is not particularly fast compared to Manny, he just throws more conventional combinations with a more visually pleasing aesthetic. Again, Judah can have success making him lead, but he simply doesn't have enough to land the harder punches more consistently from the superior position.

both are past prime....what would a win for Judah mean over a smaller opponent although Marquez is an all-time great??

Oh come on. It's no JUST speed. Judah is larger, faster and stronger than Marquez. When Manny was landing his counters on Marquez in their last fight, they weren't "fast" at all. Pure hand speed goes to Judah all day in that category, but I know, you want to make it look like Manny is the fastest out there to bolster your case.

Also, if you think Marquez is going to avoid contact this fight and several hard counters, I'd like have what you're smoking.
