Round 2 O'Brien comes forward and works the jab steadily into Navarro's face, running in behind it as Navarro turns his body away and slamming right hands over the top on his way in until leaning up and throwing body shots. Navarro is working almost exclusively in the clinches, and all little taps with the fronts of his gloves. Navarro is rocked by several head shots on the inside and tries to roll his upper body around to minimize O'Brien's connections. O'Brien isn't worrying about precision, just firing over and over with pretty nice variety. Hooks and uppercuts crash into Navarro's head despite his loosey-goosey maneuvering. Hard right hand from O'Brien climbs over Navarro's shoulder in the clinch and smashes into his left cheek before the bell. 20-18 O'B
Damn one of the Simms Brothers is fighting next...That Sucks. I hate watching them. Good Thing Duke/Carolina and a couple of NBA games are on.
A bald shot tomato can who doesn't even throw punches, **** is pathetic. They could have put a better fight together than this if they were going to have this **** on PPV
Vinnie is too wild with his punches, and comes forward like an amateur. Vinnie is a walking talking KTFO waiting to happen. I mean, the guy actually loads his punches back before letting them go. atsch
Round 3 O'Brien corkscrews both arms at Navarro in succession and pounds him with flush shots to either ear, torquing side to side. Uppercut on the inside by O'Brien as he swarms in. Navarro just hangs on the outside and watches, then snaps his arms out and behind O'Brien to grab him. Navarro bends down and rolls his head around on his neck in the pocket. Very negative stuff from Navarro. O'Brien tries to force the fight by just laying his knuckles on him as hard and often as he can. Good instincts by O'Brien; measuring his shots and slowing down before he gasses. Navarro taking some big hits.
Rumor has it (from a colleague) If Kirkland can get back close to 154lbs (158lbs catchweight has already been offered) it will be Kirkland vs Lara in Miami in the Early Summer. Nice!!!
This was his pro debut, you dink. Most people still look a bit like amateurs in their pro ****ing debut.
